Marco Polo, His Book and Asia

DiPText-KC is pleased to announce the International Conference Marco Polo, His Book and Asia. Research Perspectives Twenty Years Later, which will be held in Venice from 11 to 14 September 2024.

The event is organized by UniVE-DSU and MarcoPolo700 in the framework of the Celebrations for the 700th Anniversary of the death of the famous Venetian explorer as part of the dissemination activities of the PNRR PRIN 2022 project “Mar-VeLs – Marco Polo from Venice to World Literatures. Textual, linguistic and socio-cultural factors in the spreading of ‘Devisement dou monde’ through space and time (13th-16th centuries)”.

Speakers will include Elisa Corrò (UniVE-DSU | UniVE-DSU VeDPH | DiPText-KC), Nevio Danelon (UniVE-DSU), Federico Boschetti (CNR-ILC | UniVE-DSU VeDPH | DiPText-KC), who will introduce a contribution entitled “Shared Visions: Looking, Seeing, Creating in the Perspective of Neurohumanities”.
