DiPText-KC is pleased to announce the Seminar Those who can not read their handwriting…, which will be held on Friday 30 September 2022, starting at 20:00, in the A27 Room of the CNR Research Area of Pisa as part of BRIGHT-NIGHT 2022 – The European Night of Researchers in Pisa and Tuscany.

The Seminar, curated by Federico Boschetti (Head of the CNR-ILC Research Unit at VeDPH | Reference Contact Point for Digital Humanities within the CLARIN-IT Technical Committee and within DiPText-KC), will focus on the techniques necessary to extract words from the digital image of a printed or handwritten page: OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and HTR (Handwritten Text Recognition).
