Workshop on Digital Humanities

DiPText-KC is pleased to announce the Workshop “A digital turn in the Humanities: Methodologies and issues”, which will be held in Venice, at Palazzo Cosulich and Palazzo Vendramin, on 12 and 13 March 2024 and will also be broadcast via Zoom.

The event, organized by the Department of Asian and North African Studies of the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice under the patronage of DiPText-KC, CLARIN-IT and H2IOSC, will focus on the use of digital tools for advanced research in the Humanities and is aimed at post-doc felllows, PhD students, BA and MA students who wish to acquire cutting-edge skills and methodologies for data collection, analysis and interpretation.

The Workshop Invited Speakers include Federico Boschetti (CNR-ILC CoPhiLab | UniVE VeDPH | DiPText-KC | CLARIN-IT | H2IOSC) and Franz Fischer (UniVE VeDPH | DiPText-KC): the former will speak about Style and Stylometry in the morning session section on Tuesday 12/03/2024; the second will speak about Digital Scholarly Editions in the morning session of Wednesday 13/03/2024.
