TranscriboQuest 2025

DiPText-KC is pleased to announce the 2nd edition of TranscriboQuest, which will be held at the Site Descartes of the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon from Wednesday 3 to Friday 5 September 2025.
Organized by Biblissima+ with the support of the ATRIUM project, this training program to be held in the form of a transcribathon offers its participants the opportunity to work with historical sources while enhancing their skills in automatic text transcription under the guidance of expert trainers.
The transcribathon will span three days, comprising a mix of training sessions and hands-on transcription activities.
Its sessions are open to all students and research-affiliated staff, with priority given to doctoral candidates, permanent researchers and engineers; second-year master’s students and postdoctoral fellows looking to deepen their knowledge are also welcome.
10 partially funded places and 10 fully funded places will be made available to local participants and to participants working in France, respectively, thanks to the Biblissima+ infrastructure; 5 fully funded places will be made available to participants working on the European soil thanks to the ATRIUM project; other kinds of grant can be provided to participants not working on the European soil.
