DiPText-KC officially recognized as a CLARIN K-Centre

Today the Knowledge Centre for Digital and Public Textual Scholarship (DiPText-KC) was officially recognized as a CLARIN Knowledge Centre.

DiPText-KC is one of the Centres of CLARIN-IT, the Italian node of CLARIN, a digital infrastructure which offers data, tools and services to support research based on language resources and which has been classified by ESFRI as a Landmark Research Infrastucture for the Social Sciences and Humanities.

As part of the CLARIN Knowledge Infrastructure, DiPText-KC offers expertise on methods, data, instruments and technologies relevant in the field of Philological and Literary Studies, History, Art History and Cultural Heritage and operates as a distributed virtual center constituted by two partners: the Venice Centre of Digital and Public Humanities (VeDPH) of the Department of Humanities (DSU) of the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (UniVE) and the Institute for Computational Linguistics “Antonio Zampolli” (ILC) of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR).
