Call for Papers for RANLP 2025 Workshop ‘LM4DH 2025’

DiPText-KC is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 1st Workshop on Natural Language Processing and Language Models for Digital Humanities (LM4DH 2025), organized by some members of the CLARIN network, including Francesca Frontini (CNR-ILC | CLARIN-IT | DiPText-KC | CLARIN), as a satellite event of the 2025 edition of the Conference on Recent Advances in Natural Language Processing (RANLP 2025).

RANLP 2025 will be held in Varna (BG) from 8 to 10 September 2025, will be preceded by a Summer School on Deep Learning and Large Language Models in NLP (from 3 to 5 September 2025) and some Tutorials on current topics and cutting edge technologies (from 6 to 7 September 2025) and will be followed by some Workshops on specialised NLP topics (from 11 to 13 September 2025).

LM4DH 2025 will take place over a full day between 11 and 13 September 2025 (its exact date will be confirmed as soon as it is assigned by the RANLP 2025 Organizers).

LM4DH 2025 aims to create a collaborative platform for researchers, practitioners and students from a variety of fields to explore the application of AI-driven techniques in the Digital Humanities.

Through interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge exchange, the Workshop seeks to foster innovative methodologies, promote best practices and cultivate a research community dedicated to advancing computational approaches to human culture, memory and history.

The deadline for the paper submission has been extended from 6 to 20 July 2025.
