Call for Application for VeSSDPH 2026
DiPText-KC is pleased to announce the Call for Applications to participate in VeSSDPH 2026, the 2026 edition of the Venice Summer School in Digital and Public Humanities, organized by VeDPH, UniVE-DSU and UniVE-DSLCC and supported, among others, by DiPText-KC and CNR-ILC.
The Summer School will take place from 6 to 10 July 2026 in historical sites and cultural venues across Venice and its surroundings.
Each day will be dedicated to a specific academic field: archaeology, history, art history and textual scholarship.
Teaching formats will include lectures, hands-on workshops, guided tours and experimental performances.
All classes will be taught in English.
Participation is free of charges but requires an application.
The Summer School warmly welcomes PhD students, postdocs and practitioners from the private, public and non-governmental sectors.
Applicants must hold at least a Master’s degree or equivalent at the time of application.
Precedence will be given to those candidates whose cover letter will show that their research projects or profession will benefit from the Digital and Public Humanities methods that they will learn during the summer school.
A fair balance among genders and among disciplinary backgrounds will be preserved.
The application deadline is 13 April 2026.
