MALT Summer School 2026

DiPText-KC is pleased to announce MALT – Summer School on Methods to Advance Language Technologies, organized by ALT-EDIC (Alliance for Language Technologies) and TU/e (Eindhoven Technical University) under the LLMs4EU project and scheduled to take place in Château de Villers-Cotterêts (at ALT-EDIC headquarters) on 25-28/08/2026.

The Summer School is focused on the latest challenges and developments in language technologies, particularly on data and evaluation.

Featuring leading experts from academic institutions and industry pioneers, the Summer School Programme bridges theoretical concepts with practical applications.

Participants will engage with a wide variety of topics including multilingual and multimodal foundation models, LLM safety and reliability challenges, data quality and evaluation methodology.

The Summer School is open to PhD researchers, young researchers and industry professionals.

Participation fee is equal to € 350,00 (no VAT) and includes access to all sessions, materials, meals and networking events.

The deadline for submitting applications is 10/08/2026.
