GESIS Fall Seminar in CSS 2026

DiPText-KC is pleased to announce the 2026 edition of GESIS Fall Seminar in Computational Social Science, organized by GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences and scheduled to take place in Mannheim (at GESIS premises) or online (via Zoom) from 31/08/2026 to 29/09/2026.

GESIS Fall Seminar will feature a variety of introductory and advanced courses in Computational Social Science methods and is the right place for those who are interested in collecting or analyzing digital behavioral data from the Web, social media or digital archives, learning from leading experts in the field and connecting with other like-minded researchers.

All courses will feature an interactive mix of lectures and hands-on exercises, giving their participants the opportunity to directly apply their newly acquired skills and knowledge to real-world data.

All courses are stand-alone and can be booked separately and can be mixed and matched to build personal GESIS Fall Seminar experiences that perfectly suits participants’ needs and interests.

There is no registration deadline, but places are limited and allocated on a “first-come, first-served” basis, therefore early registration is strongly recommended.

Participants can obtain a certificate acknowledging a workload worth 2 ECTS credit points per one-week course.
